Planned Parenthood Offers Free Abortions and Vasectomies at the Democratic National Convention

Real News:
As the democratic national convention kicked off their ceremonies on Monday of last week, so did many other groups including planned parenthood, who parked a mobile “healthcare van” outside of the DNC convention. The van offered free abortions by medication, as well as vasectomies. The organizers claim the van that was there to “raise awareness and garner attention” not to be a “political stunt.”
Right beside the van there was also a taco truck, and a stand run by the Chicago abortion fund that was handing out face masks, painkillers, and other materials.
Biblical Perspective:
As Christians we cannot in good faith stand for people, organizations, and institutions that openly campaign on taking the lives of others (Exodus 20:13). It’s not political to call out evil when evil is present (Amos 5:15), it’s a necessary duty that we hold (Isaiah 5:20). We are to be the clarion voice in society that stands against the voices of this world (2 Timothy 3:16 & Matthew 5:14).
All human life is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and the forces of darkness are constantly at work to make sure that what is made in god’s image is destroyed (Ephesians 6:12). Life is not an issue to be used for political gain, it should be protected at all costs.
Timeless Take:
We must pray that those who see good as evil and evil as good, would repent and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We must pray protection over the innocent and vulnerable in our society. We must pray that brave men and women would rise up to proclaim truth in a time where truth is a rarity. We must pray that the evil schemes of the wicked would stop.
Now more than ever we must be ambassadors of god’s lifesaving message of grace and reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).
